بمناسبة حلول عيد الأضحى المبارك، وتحت رعاية دار الفتوى في أستراليا، نظّمت جمعية المشاريع الخيرية الإسلامية صلاة العيد واستقبال التهاني بهذه المناسبة السعيدة في عدد من المساجد والمصليات في سيدني و مالبورن و أدليد .
وقد جرى تجهيز هذه الأماكن وتهيئتها لاستقبال جموع المصلين والمهنئين في أجواء إيمانية عامرة بالفرح والسكينة، حيث توافد أبناء الجالية الإسلامية للمشاركة في أداء صلاة العيد وتبادل التهاني بهذه المناسبة المباركة.
وتخللت المناسبة خطب وكلمات ألقاها الخطباء، تناولوا فيها معاني عيد الأضحى العظيمة، مستذكرين قصة سيدنا إبراهيم عليه السلام مع ولده إسماعيل، وما تحمله هذه القصة من دروس في الإيمان والتضحية والطاعة المطلقة لله تعالى. كما أكدوا على أهمية الاقتداء بهذه القيم في حياة المسلمين اليومية.
كما شدد الخطباء على ضرورة مساعدة الفقراء والمحتاجين، لا سيما من خلال توزيع الأضاحي، لما في ذلك من تعزيز لمبادئ التكافل الاجتماعي والرحمة بين أفراد المجتمع.
ولم يغب عن كلمات الخطباء التنبيه إلى أهمية حماية الأجيال من خطر التطرف البغيض والعنف الممقوت، والدعوة إلى التمسك بالقيم الإسلامية السمحة القائمة على الاعتدال والتسامح، مع التأكيد على أهمية التعايش الحسن بين مختلف مكونات المجتمع، ورفض كل أشكال العنصرية التي تؤدي إلى الإساءة إلى الإسلام وإيذاء المسلمين.
كما تم تنظيم زيارات للجبانة الاسلامية حيث شارك وفد الجمعية ابناء الجالية الاسلامية الذين اعتادوا زيارة احبائهم الذين رحلوا عن هذه الدنيا الفانية مقدمين لهم المواساة والتعاطف.
وفي ختام المناسبة، رفع المشاركون أسمى التهاني والتبريكات بحلول عيد الأضحى المبارك، داعين الله تعالى أن يتقبل من الحجاج حجهم، وأن يعيدهم إلى أوطانهم سالمين غانمين، وأن يعمّ الخير والأمن والبركة على الجميع.

The Islamic Charity Projects Association (ICPA) extended its heartfelt Eid greetings to all on the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha..

On the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha, and under the patronage of Darulfatwa in Australia, the Islamic Charity Projects Association (ICPA) organised Eid prayers and celebratory greetings across a number of mosques and prayer halls in Australia.
Extensive preparations were made to ensure these venues were ready to welcome worshippers and well-wishers in a warm, organised, and spiritually uplifting environment.
Large numbers gathered to perform the Eid prayer and exchange greetings, reflecting the joy and unity that characterise this sacred occasion.
During sermons, preachers addressed the profound significance of Eid al-Adha, recalling the inspiring story of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his son Ismail. They highlighted the timeless lessons of faith, sacrifice, and sincere obedience to the Creator, encouraging attendees to embody these values in their daily lives.

The preachers also emphasised the importance of compassion and social responsibility, particularly by supporting the poor and needy through the distribution of Qurban. They noted that such acts strengthen bonds within the community and reflect the true spirit of Eid.
Attention was drawn to the importance of safeguarding future generations from the dangers of hateful extremism and abhorrent violence. Calls were made to uphold the values of moderation and peaceful coexistence, as well as to firmly reject racism and all forms of discrimination that lead to hostility towards Islam and harm to Muslims.
On this blessed occasion, prayers were offered for the pilgrims performing Hajj, wishing them an accepted pilgrimage and a safe return to their homeland.
Visits were also organized to the Islamic cemetery, where the association’s delegation joined members of the Muslim community who were accustomed to visiting their loved ones who had passed away, offering them condolences and sympathy.

The ICPA extended its heartfelt Eid greetings to all, praying that this occasion brings peace, unity, and blessings to everyone.
