الإتحاد الفيدرالي للمجالس الإسلامية في أستراليا يرحّب بحذر بإمكانية انتهاء الإبادة الجماعية ويحذّر من أن خطة ترامب–نتنياهو ليست خارطة طريق للسلام..

رحّب الإتحاد الفيدرالي للمجالس الإسلامية في أستراليا برئاسة الدكتور راتب جنيّد بالتقارير الواردة بشأن مقترح وقف إطلاق النار في غزة وإمكانية وقف الإبادة الجماعية التي تُرتكب بحق الشعب الفلسطيني. فإذا أفضى هذا المقترح إلى إنهاء فعلي للقتل والدمار والتهجير الذي استمر لما يقارب العامين، فسيكون ذلك لحظة ارتياح عميق للفلسطينيين وللملايين حول العالم الذين وقفوا متضامنين معهم.
هذه ليست خطة سلام ومع ذلك، لا بد من الوضوح.
فعوضًا عن أن تضع أسسًا لحل عادل ودائم، يبدو أن خطة ترامب–نتنياهو ما هي إلا خارطة طريق لاستمرار إخضاع الشعب الفلسطيني والسيطرة عليه. إنها خطة صاغها أولئك الذين مكّنوا الاحتلال ودافعوا عن عدوانه المستمر، وهي لا تقدّم سوى القليل فيما يتعلّق بالعدالة أو المساءلة أو السيادة الفلسطينية الحقيقية.
إنّ الخطة تفرض التزامات واسعة على الفلسطينيين، بينما تتيح لإسرائيل الإفلات الفعلي من المحاسبة. فلا ذكر فيها لجرائم الحرب التي ارتُكبت خلال العدوان العسكري على غزة، ولا آلية موثوقة لضمان وفاء إسرائيل بالتزاماتها، ولا حتى اعتراف بحقوق الفلسطينيين بموجب القانون الدولي.
وعلى الرغم من أنّ المقترح يتحدّث عن إعادة الإعمار، إلا أنه يلتزم الصمت إزاء التعويضات. ورغم حديثه عن “مرحلة انتقالية”، فإنه لا يقدّم أي ضمان لحق تقرير المصير. ورغم إشارته إلى إنهاء الحرب، فإنه يتجاهل الاحتلال الأوسع، والحصار، ونظام الفصل العنصري الذي يشكّل الأساس لهذه الأزمة برمتها.
ومن اللافت أنّ الخطة لم تأتِ على ذكر الدولة الفلسطينية. بل إنها تطرح نموذج حكم يضع السيطرة على غزة في أيدي قوى أجنبية، بينما يُختزل الفلسطينيون إلى مجرد متلقّين لقرارات مفروضة عليهم من الخارج.
وهذا يعيد إنتاج الديناميات نفسها التي حَرمت الفلسطينيين من حريتهم لعقود. ودون معالجة جذور الصراع، بما في ذلك الاحتلال والتهجير وإنكار الهوية الوطنية الفلسطينية، لا يمكن تحقيق سلام حقيقي.
وقال الدكتور راتب جنيّد، رئيس الاتحاد الفيدرالي للمجالس الإسلامية في أستراليا:
“نرحّب بأي جهد صادق يهدف إلى وقف الإبادة الجماعية، غير أنّ هذا المقترح لا يضع أسسًا للعدالة أو للحرية. فالسلام لا يمكن أن يُفرض عبر السيطرة الأجنبية والمساءلة الانتقائية. إنّ الشعب الفلسطيني يستحق حق تقرير المصير، والكرامة، والحماية الكاملة بموجب القانون الدولي.”
ويعيد الاتحاد الفيدرالي التأكيد على موقفه الثابت بأن السلام الحقيقي لا يتحقق إلا عبر العدالة، بما في ذلك:
إنهاء الاحتلال لجميع الأراضي الفلسطينية؛
ضمان حق العودة للاجئين الفلسطينيين؛
الاعتراف بدولة فلسطينية مستقلة وذات سيادة؛
والمساءلة الكاملة عن جميع الانتهاكات للقانون الدولي.
إنّ وقف إطلاق النار، على أهميته وإلحاحه، لا يجب أن يُستغل كوسيلة لإضفاء الشرعية على الأمر الواقع أو لحماية الجناة من المسؤولية.
فالسلام بلا عدالة ليس سلامًا على الإطلاق.
ويؤكّد الاتحاد أنه سيظل دائمًا في خندق التضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني، ومع كل الأصوات داخل أستراليا وحول العالم، الداعية إلى إنهاء الإبادة الجماعية، ورفع الحصار، وبناء مستقبل قائم على العدالة والحرية والكرامة للجميع.

AFIC Cautiously Welcomes Potential End to Genocide, But Warns the Trump–Netanyahu Plan is Not a Blueprint for Peace
The Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC) cautiously welcomes reports of a proposed ceasefire in Gaza and the potential cessation of the genocide being committed against the Palestinian people. If this plan results in a genuine end to the killing, destruction, and displacement that has unfolded over nearly two years, it will be a moment of deep relief for Palestinians and for the millions globally who have stood in solidarity with them.
However, we must be clear: this is not a peace plan.
Rather than laying the foundation for a just and lasting resolution, the Trump–Netanyahu proposal appears to be a blueprint for the continued subjugation and control of the Palestinian people. It is a plan framed by those who have enabled and defended Israel’s ongoing aggression, and it offers little in the way of justice, accountability, or genuine Palestinian sovereignty.
The plan places extensive obligations on Palestinians while offering Israel an effective escape from accountability. There is no mention of the war crimes committed during the military assault on Gaza. There is no credible mechanism for ensuring Israel meets its obligations, nor is there any recognition of Palestinian rights under international law.
While the proposal speaks of reconstruction, it is silent on reparations. While it speaks of transition, it makes no guarantee of self-determination. And while it speaks of ending the war, it fails to acknowledge the broader occupation, siege, and apartheid system that underpins this entire crisis.
Notably, the plan makes no mention of a Palestinian state. Instead, it outlines a governance model that places control of Gaza in the hands of foreign powers, with Palestinians reduced to recipients of externally imposed decisions.
This reinforces the same dynamics that have denied Palestinians their freedom for decades. Without addressing the root causes of the conflict, including the occupation, displacement, and denial of Palestinian nationhood, there can be no true peace.
“We welcome any genuine effort to stop the genocide, but this proposal does not lay the foundation for justice or freedom,” said Dr Rateb Jneid, President of AFIC. “Peace cannot be imposed through foreign control and selective accountability. The Palestinian people deserve self-determination, dignity, and the full protection of international law.”
AFIC reiterates its longstanding position: true peace can only be achieved through justice, including:
• An end to the occupation of all Palestinian land;
• The right of return for Palestinian refugees;
• Recognition of a sovereign, independent Palestinian state;
• And full accountability for all violations of international law.
A ceasefire, while urgently needed, must not be used to legitimise the status quo or shield perpetrators from responsibility. Peace without justice is not peace at all.

We continue to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and all those, within Australia and around the world, calling for an end to the genocide, the lifting of the siege, and a future grounded in justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
