أصدر الدكتور راتب جنيد، رئيس الإتحاد الأسترالي للمجالس الإسلامية، بياناً هاماً في ظل الأوضاع المأساوية التي يشهدها الشعب الفلسطيني في غزة.
ويعتبر هذا البيان بمثابة صرخة من القلب تدعو إلى التحرك الفعّال من أجل إنهاء المأساة التي يعيشها المدنيين الأبرياء في فلسطين.
” نداء صحوة إلى قادة المسلمين، والأمة الإسلامية، واليهود أصحاب الضمير، والجنود الإسرائيليين
نُصدر هذا البيان بقلوب يعتصرها الألم، ونفوس يغمرها الإيمان، وإرادة لا تعرف التراجع.
ما يحدث في غزة اليوم ليس “صراعًا”، وليس “حربًا” بين طرفين متكافئين.
إنه إبادة جماعية ممنهجة، ووحشية بلا حدود، وعدوان مستمر على شعب أعزل.
هو قتل متعمد للأطفال، والنساء، والشيوخ.
هو تدمير شامل للمنازل والمساجد والمستشفيات.
هو اغتصاب وانتهاك للعرض، ونهب للبيوت، وسرقة لكل ما له قيمة — حتى الذهب وذكريات العائلة.
هو تجويع… هو تعذيب… هو إحراق… هو سحق لإنسانية شعب كامل أمام أعين العالم.
فأين أنتم يا قادة المسلمين؟
وأين أنتم يا علماء الأمة؟
وأين أنتم يا شعوب الإسلام؟
أين ضمائركم؟ أين غيرتكم؟ أين إنسانيتكم؟
هل ترضون هذا على أبنائكم؟ على أمهاتكم؟ على شيوخكم؟
كيف لكم أن تشاهدوا أشلاء الأطفال، ودموع الأمهات، وصرخات الجوع — وتصمتوا؟
إلى قادة العالم الإسلامي:
البيانات الإعلامية، والخطب الرنانة، والاجتماعات البروتوكولية — لا تكفي.
غزة لا تحتاج إلى عبارات مكررة، بل تحتاج إلى مواقف شجاعة، وتحرك فعلي، وضغط سياسي واقتصادي حقيقي.
وإلى الشعب اليهودي من أصحاب الضمائر الحية:
أنتم تعرفون جيدًا ما معنى الاضطهاد، وتعلمون ماذا فعل بكم النظام النازي.
لكن هل أصبح الألم الذي عانيتم منه مبررًا لسحق شعب آخر؟
هل تتحول المأساة إلى أداة قمع، والألم إلى ذريعة للتطهير العرقي؟
وإلى جنود الاحتلال الإسرائيلي:
هل أنتم بشر؟ هل لديكم قلوب تنبض؟
كيف يطلق القنّاص رصاصته على طفل؟ لا مرة، بل مرتين؟
كيف تسقطون القنابل على مدارس ومستشفيات ومساجد وتدّعون الدفاع عن أنفسكم؟
لا زي عسكري، ولا علم، ولا خطاب رسمي — قادر على تبرئة أيديكم الملطخة بدماء الأبرياء.
أما إلى الأمة الإسلامية:
الدعاء مطلوب، والصدقة مشروعة — لكن لا يكفي الدعاء وحده.
لو كان رسول الله ﷺ قد اكتفى بالدعاء، لما خرج إلى بدر، ولا سار إلى تبوك.
لقد دعا، نعم… لكنه تحرك، وضحّى، وقاد، وواجه الظالمين.
فهل نرضى أن نكون أمة تدعو ولا تفعل؟ تبكي ولا تتحرك؟ تستنكر ثم تنام؟
إن الله عز وجل يُحذّرنا في كتابه الكريم:
“إِلَّا تَنفِرُوا يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْئًا ۗ”
(سورة التوبة، الآية 39)
هذا ليس وقت الصمت.
هذا ليس وقت الحياد.
هذا وقت الكلمة الصادقة، والموقف الجريء، والعمل الجماعي.
نحن نقف مع غزة، ونقف مع فلسطين.
وسنظل نرفع أصواتنا حتى يتحقق العدل، ويسقط الظالم، وتُسترد الأرض.
هذا عهدنا. أمام الله. وأمام التاريخ. وأمام الإنسانية”.
Public Statement from Dr Rateb Jneid, President of AFIC
A Wake-Up Call to Muslim Leaders, the Muslim Ummah, the Jewish People of Conscience, and Israeli Soldiers
We issue this statement with profound pain, urgent concern, and unwavering resolve.
What is occurring in Gaza goes beyond ‘conflict’. This is not a battle between equals but a genocide, systematic, brutal, and relentless. Innocent civilians, including babies, children, women, and the elderly, are being massacred. Homes are destroyed, lives desecrated, lands stolen, and personal belongings looted, including gold and heirlooms buried beneath rubble.
The atrocities extend to rape, starvation, torture, and the deliberate killing of civilians. It’s a slow extermination of a people under the world’s watchful eyes.
We pose these questions with righteous indignation:
• Where are the Muslim leaders?
• Where is the Muslim Ummah?
• How can you witness this and remain silent?
• Are your hearts so hardened? Have your consciences been muted by fear or comfort? Would you accept this for your own families?
To those in power across the Muslim world, diplomatic statements and hollow condemnations fall short. Gaza needs genuine action, leadership, and solidarity—not just carefully worded press releases.
To the Jewish people of conscience, you understand suffering through historical atrocities committed against your ancestors. You have ensured that the world never forgets the horrors of the Nazi regime. How can you then justify or ignore the suffering inflicted by the Israeli government upon Palestinians? Does suffering one’s own past tragedies justify inflicting pain on another?
To the Israeli soldiers and the government that commands them, no propaganda can mask your war crimes. A sniper who shoots a child is not a hero but a murderer. A pilot who bombs a hospital does not defend a nation but attacks humanity. Your actions, marked by cruelty and an egregious disregard for life, will not escape historical judgment.
And to the Muslim Ummah, yes, prayer is vital, charity is commendable. However, prayer without action is hypocrisy. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stood up for the oppressed. He spoke, fought, sacrificed, and never abandoned his people.
Why then, should we?
We are reminded by Allah’s warning in the Qur’an:
“If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people. And you will not harm Him at all.” (Surah At-Tawbah, 9:39)
This is not a time for silence or neutrality. It is a time for action, resistance, unity, and truth.
We stand resolutely with Gaza. We stand with Palestine. We will continue to advocate until justice prevails, the oppression ceases, and Palestine is liberated.
This is our duty—to history, to humanity, and to Allah.
