يدين الاتحاد الفيدرالي للمجالس الإسلامية في أستراليا إدانة قاطعة الهجوم الإرهابي الذي استهدف مسجدًا في إسلام آباد أثناء صلاة الجمعة، والذي أسفر عن فقدان العديد من الأرواح البريئة وإصابة عدد من المصلين بجروح خطيرة.
إن هذا الاعتداء على أناس اجتمعوا سلميًا لأداء الصلاة يُعد عملاً شنيعًا من أعمال العنف وانتهاكًا خطيرًا لحرمة بيوت الله. ولا يمكن تبرير مثل هذه الأفعال بأي حال من الأحوال، فهي تتناقض كليًا مع تعاليم الإسلام وقيمه السمحة.
يتقدم الاتحاد بأصدق التعازي إلى حكومة وشعب باكستان، ولا سيما إلى أسر الضحايا الذين فقدوا أحباءهم وإلى المصابين في هذا الهجوم. إن قلوبنا ودعاءنا معهم في هذه اللحظات الأليمة.
وقال الدكتور جنيد، رئيس الاتحاد:
“لقد كان هذا اعتداءً وحشيًا وجبانًا على مصلين أبرياء، نفذته جماعات متطرفة لا تمت إلى الإسلام بصلة، وتمثل أفعالها تحريفًا كاملًا لديننا. وباسم الجالية المسلمة في أستراليا، نتقدم بخالص التعازي إلى حكومة وشعب باكستان، ونسأل الله الرحمة لمن فقدوا أرواحهم والشفاء العاجل للمصابين.”
ويدعو الاتحاد الحكومات ووسائل الإعلام وقادة المجتمعات حول العالم إلى إدانة هذا الهجوم دون تردد أو ازدواجية في المعايير، وضمان عدم استغلال مثل هذه الأعمال في وصم أو تشويه صورة المجتمعات المسلمة التي ما زالت تعاني بدورها من عنف الجماعات المتطرفة.
وأضاف الدكتور جنيد:
“لقد كان المسلمون حول العالم من بين أبرز ضحايا العنف المتطرف. ونحن نقف متضامنين مع شعب باكستان، ونجدد رفضنا القاطع لجميع أشكال الإرهاب والعنف ضد المدنيين. ويؤكد الاتحاد استعداده لتقديم الدعم والتعاون بكل السبل الممكنة، سواء من خلال المناصرة أو تعزيز التضامن المجتمعي أو تقديم المساعدات الإنسانية.”
ويؤكد الاتحاد الفيدرالي للمجالس الإسلامية في أستراليا التزامه الراسخ بتعزيز السلام والعدالة وحماية الأرواح، والعمل مع الشركاء محليًا ودوليًا لمكافحة التطرف من خلال مقاربات مبدئية وأخلاقية ترتكز على المجتمع.
AFIC Condemns Terrorist Attack on Mosque in Islamabad
The Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC) unequivocally condemns the terrorist attack on a mosque in Islamabad during Friday prayers, which has resulted in the tragic loss of many innocent lives and serious injuries to worshippers.
This attack on people gathered peacefully for prayer is an abhorrent act of violence and a grave violation of the sanctity of a place of worship. There is no justification for such acts, and they stand in complete contradiction to the teachings and values of Islam.
AFIC extends its deepest condolences to the Government and people of Pakistan particularly to the families who have lost loved ones and to those injured in this attack. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this time of grief.
Dr Jneid, President of AFIC, said:
“This was a brutal and cowardly attack on innocent worshippers, carried out by extremists who have no connection to Islam and whose actions represent a complete distortion of our faith. On behalf of the Australian Muslim community, AFIC extends its heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Pakistan, and our prayers for mercy for those who have lost their lives and healing for the injured.”
AFIC calls on governments, media organisations and community leaders globally to condemn this attack without hesitation or double standards, and to ensure that such acts are not used to stigmatise or vilify Muslim communities who themselves continue to suffer from extremist violence.
Dr Jneid added:
“Muslims around the world have long been among the primary victims of extremist violence. We stand in solidarity with the people of Pakistan and reaffirm our rejection of all forms of terrorism and violence against civilians. AFIC offers its support and cooperation in whatever way is possible, whether through advocacy, community solidarity or humanitarian assistance.”
